Terms of Service

1. The service and your account

ListGuru provides an AI-powered people search, contact enrichment and email verification platform for business use (the “Service”). To use the Service you must create an account, be at least 18 years old, and use the Service on behalf of a business or professional activity. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials, and all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@listguru.example if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Credits, plans and billing

The Service operates on a credit system. Credits are consumed when the Service successfully delivers data — for example, revealing an email, revealing a mobile number, or verifying an address — at the rates displayed in the product. Failed lookups do not consume credits.

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annually) until cancelled. Fees are charged in advance and, except where required by law or expressly stated in these terms, are non-refundable. Unused credits on paid plans roll over while the subscription remains active, up to the cap described on the pricing page. We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

3. Cancellation and termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features and remaining credits until then. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay fees, or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for ListGuru. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your account data after a reasonable period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service and any data obtained through it only for lawful, business-to-business purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, including anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM and equivalents), telemarketing rules, and data protection laws (such as GDPR and CCPA).

You must not: use the Service to send unlawful communications; resell, sublicense or redistribute data obtained from the Service as a standalone product; scrape, crawl or bulk-export the Service beyond your credit allowance; attempt to probe or circumvent security or rate limits; use data for consumer credit, employment eligibility, insurance, housing or any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws; or use the Service to harass, stalk or harm any individual.

5. Data and privacy

Contact and profile data provided through the Service is compiled from publicly available sources and licensed partners. When you export or use that data, you become an independent controller of it and are responsible for using it lawfully, honoring opt-outs and providing any notices required in your jurisdiction. Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

ListGuru and its licensors own the Service, including all software, models, designs and trademarks. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service during your subscription for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of the lists and files you upload; you grant us a licence to process them solely to provide the Service. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we publish accuracy targets and work hard to meet them, data changes constantly and we do not warrant that any particular result will be accurate, complete or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ListGuru will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. General terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable law gives you the right to a different forum. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-product message; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order form, are the entire agreement between you and ListGuru regarding the Service. Questions can be sent to legal@listguru.example.
